I’ve had several requests for a Best Biscuits in Austin roundup given that I’ve had my fair share of biscuits lately. We’ve got some super dang delish options and I’m thrilled to put this together. Additionally, I know there are quite a few spots not listed that I should include and I promise to keep on eating biscuits and add to this list.
Little Ola’s Biscuits
I’ve had the fried chicken biscuit and the country ham and cheese and both were divine! Oh, and if you don’t want a fancy sandwich, you’ll love their biscuits and honey butter! Be sure to grab a cocktail to-go as well!
Address: 14735 Bratton Lane
Mattie’s
Oh my goodness, biscuits and a beautiful venue! Mattie’s is a dream and I wish I were there enjoying a biscuit right now. Their butter usually is a blend of something amazing (like the one in my picture that makes it pink)! Enjoy!
Address: 811 W. Live Oak St.
Foreign and Domestic (FnD)
I literally have walked out of FnD swooning and in a food coma everytime! I can’t tell you what my favorite dish is because every bite is out of this world. Save room for dessert. The Fried Chicken Biscuit is a MUST devour. It’ll leave you speechless. Check out an old blog post about my brunch at FnD for the full scoop!
Address: 306 E. 53rd St.
Revelry Kitchen + Bar
Well, it’s not surprise I’m a huge fan of RKB and I miss riding my bike there for a cocktail and grub. They’re open with plenty of outside seating if that’s your thing! Their biscuits and gravy available at brunch is quite possibly one of the best brunch items I’ve ever eaten. I dream about it on the reg.
Address: 1410 E. 6th St.

Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile
Jacoby’s has one of my favorite buttermilk biscuits & gravy! It’s fluffy, flaky, and oh so satisfying. Pair it with an order of deviled eggs and mac n cheese and a cocktail! Or don’t, and just eat it by itself. Point is, be sure to get your hands on one asap.
Address: 3235 E. Cesar Chavez St.
Sawyer & Co.
This Southern gem has nailed the biscuit game. Growing up in Louisiana, I developed a palate for biscuits early on and I’m particular. Sawyer & Co.’s biscuit meets my criteria! You can get a benedict on a biscuit, fried chicken, omelet, or just get the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit is the winner there!
Address: 4827 E. Cesar Chavez St.
Stella San Jac
Good news! You can order the #16 biscuits at any time of the day! And you ALWAYS should start your meal at Stella San Jac with biscuits. They’re craveable and satisfying! I love their deviled eggs also and eggs pair nicely with biscuits!
Address: 310 E. 5th St.
Fixe Southern House
Oh my golly, I’ll never forget the first time we went to dinner at Fixe. We ordered EVERYTHING and were so stuffed but it was totally worth it. You can get their biscuits and biscuit sandwiches delivered now too so you really have no excuse to order a dozen!
Address: 500 W. 5th St.
Try Hard Coffee
On select weekends, Try Hard Coffee makes these amazing breakfast biscuit sandwiches that you are lucky to get if you show up in time. I’ve had the great honor of enjoying this creation twice now and I long for the next one. They serve it to you open face, and I’d recommend just using a fork and going for it. Regardless, grab you a Chai Rider (best tea drink ever) and a breakfast biscuit (or a taco if they’re out of biscuits) and do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Address: 1115 E. 11th St.
Brooklyn Breakfast Shop
It took me too long to have one of Brooklyn Breakfast Shop’s biscuit sandwiches, but once they opened a second location at Prep ATX, I had no reason to keep missing out! Their breakfast sandos are on regular bread or biscuits, and I suggest a biscuit!
Address: 7800 S. 1st St.
Bird Bird Biscuit
Last but not least, the spot for my favorite Fried Chicken Biscuit – BBB! Order the Queen Beak, drive on over and pick it up at their biscuit window, DO NOT WAIT till you get home to devour it. I apologize in advance for any mess it may cause. They’re open late on the weekend so you can get your biscuit fix for dinner too!
Address: 2701 Manor Rd. and 1401 W. Koenig Ln.

Briscuits
I still haven’t had a chance to check out Briscuits yet because Radio Coffee is always so busy (a good thing), but many of you love them so definitely needed to include them here.
Address: 4204 Menchaca Rd.
Lynny’s
This food truck specializes in all things breakfast and biscuits are definitely on the menu. Get a biscuit sandwich or biscuits and jam! Pairs perfectly with a cup of their coffee or a latte!
Address: 705 Gunter St.
Goldy’s
Ummmmm, the sausage & cheese biscuit might be my new favorite biscuit sandwich! The biscuit is massive and I loved the flake and density and it held up so well. If you don’t want to get the sandwich, just get a warm biscuit with jam and thank me later!
Address: 2401 Winsted Lane
As mentioned, I know there are some more good biscuits out there. If you don’t see your favorite listed, throw me a rec down below in the comments. Until we meet for a meal full of biscuits…
Bon Appetite,
Shveta
