A SPOOKtacular Yelp Sinister Society Dinner at Inchin’s Bamboo Garden

October 27, 2016

I had the privilege of attending Yelp Elite’s Sinister Society dinner at Inchin’s Bamboo Garden in Round Rock earlier this month! We shared ghost stories, had an adult beverage (or two), tried some amazing in-house juices, and ATE! (Side note: I lived a mile from Inchin’s for 5 years and didn’t know about this gem – wth!?!)

Our Community Manager, Luci, always greets us in person (with a hug) and all the deets about the event and what to do to promote the spot on social media is available from the start. You know you’re at an event with other Social Media Influencers when you’re given hashtags up front 🙂

We're always welcomed and given all the deets for the event!

The owners of Inchin’s Bamboo Garden, Gautam and Asha, were the most gracious hosts and served up an amazing PanAsian dinner for all 40+ Elites who attended. They also decorated the bar, tables and restaurant to truly demonstrate a “halloween” themed event. I mean, look at this gorgeous bottle of “Wing of Bat” – so creative right? Couldn’t use it on the entrees since I don’t think it was meant to be consumed…

The menu was delicious and I’ll definitely hit up this gem again when I’m up north. In the meantime, check out some of my favorites!

This dish was by far my favorite. The Lat Mai Kai is crispy marinated chicken is sauteed with chili and onion. FLAVOR EXPLOSION!

Vegetarian Hakka Noodles - UM HELLO! Get you some ASAP. Mix it up with the Lat Mai Kai or the Chili Mustard Paneer (pictured next) and you'll be set!

Chili Mustard Paneer - mmmmmm, this was creamy, oober delish and kinda spicy. Paneer is Indian Cheese (if you didn't know that).

Vegetarian Thai Yellow Curry - you had me at curry! I love Thai curries and this one on top of the burnt garlic fried rice was ridiculously amazing.

All in all, I had a wonderful time meeting up fellow Elites, sharing some ghost stories but most importantly, eating IndoChinese grub <- which is my favorite cuisine and so hard to find around here.  But now, I have my go-to spot!

Bon Appetite!
