Old Thousand has been serving up some modern Chinese food on the Eastside of ATX and when I heard they were starting lunch service, I had to make my way there to try out their new menu!
Dined with @atxeatsandtreats and we shared the following (I didn’t eat it all by myself y’all) —
Forbidden Rice – such a beautiful and flavorful dish with the goji berries and citrus-chile vinagrette
Khao Man Gai Spring Roll – the braised chicken thigh, pickled cabbage, mint, carrot and all the other goodies in here had me wishing I didn’t have to share!
Never leave Old Thousand without eating their Brisket Fried Rice!
Nommmmm – Dan Dan Mian with ground pork, chili oil and preserved black bean was out of this world!
