I had my eyes on Taquero Mucho’s opening date when I heard from Gabby, the owner of their sister restaurant, Gabriela’s downtown, that she was opening up a Taqueria. From the Instagram posts, I had a pretty good idea there would be some pink in the restaurant.
Then I went in for brunch this past weekend with my fellow Austin Food Blogger Alliance members and it’s quite literally a pink-lovers dream! From pink roses, to pink neon art, to pink wallpaper, to pink margaritas, and pink TORTILLAS, the experience there is true to Gabby’s brand and enticing with the delish food and welcoming ambiance.
If you’ve had the pleasure of having Gabriela’s Choriqueso, then you’re in for a treat, because that Choriqueso is on Taquero Mucho’s menu and it is a must order! Also, enjoy the classic margarita, naturally colored with beets or hibiscus to give it a beautiful pink hue. I especially loved the pollo tacos (comes with 2, beans, rice and a side guac) and for under $12, it’s not only reasonably priced, but absolutely delicious.
Enjoy sights from my latest visit and you better believe I’ll be back very soon. It’s totally an InstaWorthy spot, so plan on taking tons of pictures (and visit the bathroom for my favorite backdrop).

Head on in to dine at Taquero Mucho – you’ll love every bite and each bev! There are a few parking lots out front and street parking nearby. Also, they validate parking if you park in the lot in front of their space.
Bon Appetite,
Shveta
